So, just first impressions, but generally good. With his starter memory, Naha would have responded badly to people who were too imperious or demanding, and C.C wasn't. She avoided bad pings, so it's cool. It's hard to say too much from a couple of threads, but he's willing to give her a chance.
He's considered getting her pizza, but... eh, not that motivated.
She's more relaxed around him, because he doesn't seem to be as emotionally involved and less likely to take anything to offense. They work together pretty well on a basic level! He's kind of a comfortable person to have within the team for her, at least.
So, how good is Ruby's chance of making Naha dere for them?
Neji's impressions of Itachi haven't changed too much, I don't think. He's curious, a little, and not uncomfortable with him? They should thread again at some point.
Itachi seems patient, and his name appeals to Naha on a purely superficial level. ...Actually, in general, Itachi might appeal to Naha in a very superficial way. They haven't spoken enough to really have deep impressions, but Itachi is interesting and fairly easy to be around.
Does that make sense?
It's so hard to write too much about just a few threads.
NINJA FEELS. Neji is not good at feels. Both because of his particular life/upbringing, but also just generally because he's a ninja. I mean, you know how they are about feelings. You can't be trained that emotions are a liability and not have some consequences to that. In general, he's better at dealing with angry/judgmental/spiky feels because they're more comfortable and they seem less vulnerable, but he also knows that's... sort of a façade and comes from his own insecurities.
Still, it's easier and it's habit.
He has feelings for Sakura, though. Weird, squishy, dere feelings. He's a little unsure how to deal with them. And he acts on them in kind of weird ways, but it's comforting and makes Aather easier for him to deal with, so he keeps doing it.
Tell me about... hm. Okay, we were talking about their relationship in gchat just a little bit ago. UM.
Neji likes Raven, but sometimes he really doesn't know what to make of him. Like, he's generally a pleasant addition to Neji's life, and for the most part he and Tiger's Eye are comfortable for him to be around. I know he mostly wallflowers, but that's... actually something he does when he's comfortable.
But Neji is not sure how to react to Raven being a busybody or meddling in his romantic life, especially when he's more or less in denial that it is romantic. What. Surely this is all totally normal things friends do.
HIS FIRST IMPRESSION IS ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD? I guess an advantage of being the god of night and chaos is having a high tolerance for things like... having people tell you their hobbies include sadism or having fights breakout at parties. He's not really one to judge stuff like that.
They have been pretty undemanding of him, and they're new and unexpected, so his initial thoughts are generally good.
He is, however, a little unsure about the preoccupation for fussing about whether or not the team is teamy enough. It's a little too navel gazing and self-aware for him, and seems kind of self-defeating. Especially since he only has two memories of his own, which leaves him in a pretty particular place.
So. Overall, Naha's willing to try to like them?
Hmmm. In the skill game, Tavros said he didn't really like that perception of Ruby--being crazy and such. Tell me about how he feels about Ruby's image?
Neji does not dislike Jaina. I feel the need to say this clearly. He even thinks she balances out the team a little. Someone has to have morals.
Bot gosh, does she ever frustrate him. Especially when she treats him like a kid. And I get, OOC, why she does that. He's like 17. That's young. But for his canon, he's respected, he has rank, post timeskip, Kakashi and Gai treat him like he's younger and less ranking than they are, sure, but they're also fairly respectful and don't treat him like a kid either.
Ninjaaaaa.
Plus, I mean, no one likes feeling like they're being treated like a child, even when they are legit less experienced.
Naha doesn't love Sieh like he does in canon at this point. He doesn't have the memories for it. Though boy, will getting memories of protecting little baby godling Sieh be good when he gets them. But he does remember Sieh, and probably more than anyone else he trusts him. He knows they were in the same slavery, and he has a vague idea of their relationship, so Sieh's in a pretty special place for the time being.
Nothing extreme! I think Neji is finally getting to a place where he wants to stay in Aather longer because there are people who are important to him--Ace is pretty firmly near the top of that list. But he fails at actually saying that. Because he's a dumb ninja. But he actually feels pretty comfortable with Ace. idk.
I feel like I should apologize for him failing at friendship.
...It probably says something to Naha's terrible taste that Acedia strikes him as appealing. I blame the fact that madness is part of Naha's nature, and Acedia is sort of fascinating that way.
Naha wonders how Mukuro would react to seeing one of his memories. idk if he'll offer the one he has, or another later on, and he might remember that it's not a great idea because mortal minds that aren't made to handle god stuff. But he also might not. And he's curious.
Since Neji has his speed back, he might approach Sasuke about sparring. It came up before, and he's curious. Maybe that's a thing that could happen?
Sasuke didn't make a great first impression. He managed to hit some of Naha's badpings--he's pretty imperious and acts like he expects people to do what he says and answer his questions. Naha doesn't respond well to people thinking they have authority over him under the best circumstances, and since in the intro his one memory was of being a slave and being compelled to do what he was told to (and figuring out ways to make that backfire), it really... didn't strike him in a great way.
It took him a while to figure out Itachi was Sasuke's older brother, but that inclined him a little better toward him. Still badping. But he does rather like Itachi.
NOTHING STRONG BUT GENERALLY POSITIVE? Hilariously. Somewhat similar to Itachi, but a little less so since they haven't talked as much. Kurei's made a sort of superficial but attractive impression.
