Memory 33
Arameri captivity. (significant negative) (headcanon)
Description: So this is just a big compilation of Arameri awfulness. It's not everything, or even everything that's not otherwise related to other memories, but it's sort of a highlight reel of two thousand years or so in Sky. Very little of it comes from the first century or two, when Naha was still... acclimating... as it were.
Still, this means remembering many centuries worth of slavery, with the abuses that come with it, and being used as a tool or a weapon by the Arameri. There is killing, punishment, rape, and watching the same mete out to his children. Along with the major abuses, there are many, many petty ones as an increasingly privileged family systematically make their privilege felt, and assert themselves by debasing gods.
It also means learning to fight back within that system. There will be a lot of memories of killing Arameri through manipulation, or seduction, or just encouraging them along certain paths until they make a mistake.
And many, many succession ceremonies where Tempa gave Naha the "chance" to end their slavery.
I don't have a whole lot of specific things worked out. If I need to make something up at some point, I will, but just... general.
Notes:
+This is a huge bad memory, but mostly bad (within the relative scope of Naha's experience) as an aggregate of abuses. Some of them would be sig negs on their own... but for the most part, it's like getting a thousand triv negs in one go.
+Not safe for human consumption, even though it's almost exclusively in the human world. So much bad. And just so much time.
+Thiiiis will not be good for Naha. I'll probably put off taking it for a few days, at least.
+Suddenly dangersex is really, really a thing.
+And Tempa and Naha's relationship takes a huge hit. It can't actually regress, because of Naha's nature. But Naha can certainly become very angry, and very bitter.
+ NAHA BECOMES INCREASINGLY SENSITIVE ABOUT BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO
+And we'll see how things go when Naha takes it.
