Memory 05
Creating Sieh with Enefa. (ref: HTK 142)
Convincing Enefa to let Sieh live after his birth. (ref: HTK 218) significant neutral
Description:
As with other memories, we don't have this from Naha's perspective.
Like some of Tempa's memories, this memory isn't precisely literal. It's sort of... well, it's sort of like a personal mythology. Which I suppose is a thing it makes sense to have if you're a god. I actually sort of see Naha as remembering both the sort of stylized, mythologicalized version like this, as well as a more metaphorical corporeal memory of it (someone like his memory of keeping Enefa from killing Sieh, and in keeping with the general way gods sometimes use corporeal forms or the veneer of them to help... organize meaning.
While that's not entirely in keeping with Naha's nature, he's not all chaos, all the time. He's organized enough to survive, and while he's in a mortal body, that means physical metaphors are fairly important.
He also remembers these things in the godly sense; noncorporeal and multifaceted and far-reaching.
So while this memory seems fairly straight forward, it's actually very layered.
...And yes, the physical memory does probably involve fucking his sister. Though, not in a human sort of way. Tentacles were probably involved. :T
Notes:
-Because this is a fairly layered memory, it's going to be a bit of a stretch on his sanity, at least at first. It's positive, though, so it probably won't make it (of itself, anyway) a DANGEROUS break.
-More Sieh dere. More Enefa dere, too—a lot of Enefa dere. Why isn't she here. :(a
-And Naha continues to have memories that encourage a pretty distinct split between is backstory personality and his canon personality.
-...That is, if he ever takes them. That makes three he's behind.
Form: ...I don't remember, it was food right?
Uses Left: NA

But it was to First Sibling that she went for help with her most ambitious experiment. First Sibling was, as she had expected, eager to assist—but to her surprise, there was a sober warning as well. "If this works, it will change many things. You realize that, dont you? Nothing in our lives will ever be the same." First Sibling paused, waiting to see that she understood, and abruptly she did. Second Sibling did not like change.
"Nothing can stay the same forever," she said. "We were not made to be still. Even he must realize that.
First Sibling only sighed and said no more."
The experiment worked. The new life, mewling and shaking and uttering vehement protests, was beautiful in its unfinished way, and the woman knew that what she had begun was good and right. She named the creature Sieh, because that was the sound of the wind. And she called his type of being a child, meaning that it had the potential to grow into something like themselves, and meaning, too, that they could create more of them.
