Memory 00

Destroying the Maro continent. (ref: HTK 49-54, BK 126-127) trivial positive

Description: Nahadoth and the other Enefadeh face an army, along with the current head of the Arameri family. The head of the family chooses Nahadoth to be his weapon to make a display of his power, against the advice of the others. He commands Naha to destroy the army, not let them advance, and not to kill him specifically in the process.

Naha first attacks the army, and there's a brief episode of conventional violence, but with dawn coming, he changes his tactics.

And then a black star blazes to life at the army's heart. I can think of no other words to describe it. It is a sphere of darkness so concentrated that it glows, so heavy with power that the earth groans and sags beneath it. A pit forms, radiating deep cracks. the enemy falls inward. I cannot hear their screams because the black star sucks in the sound. It sucks in their bodies. It sucks in everything.

Blackhole-Nahadoth sucks in and destroys everything, enjoying his power. He may or may not have planned it so that the Arameri lord can't command him off. Planning isn't really his thing though. This isn't from his POV, so I'm going to venture a guess and say that whether he planned it that way or not, at this point, he's just enjoying getting to unleash his power and make the Arameri head regret his stupidity.

The sun rises, putting a stop to all the destruction and in the aftermath:

Something—charred, pitiful, not enough of a human form to be called abody—hovers in the star's place for a moment, then falls toward the lava below. Sieh curses and streaks off on his yellow ball...

Nahadoth has ruined... pretty much everything ever. Not just the army, but the city nearby, and the whole continent that it's on. Zhakkarn observes that it will take Naha years to recover from using that much power while in a human body. The Arameri reloctes to Semn (another continent), while this one (the Maro continent) falls into the sea over the course of the next few days.

Notes:
-While Naha's name does appear in this memory, I am redacting it. Nahadoth will not remember it.
-Naha remembers Sieh and that they're in the same situation. He does not remember Sieh saving him from lava.
-So he's a weapon. I think this will be the real take away he has from this. A weapon that could destroy the world, if a foolish wielder let him. And he'd enjoy it.
-This memory starts Naha in a fairly low energy place—he just blew all of his power, so to some degree, arriving without it won't be that strange. Not what he expected, but he's more or less prepared not to be useful for a while.
-It also starts him in a fairly happy place. He just got one over on his master. Feels good.
-He remembers the Arameri. And he haaaates them. I don't think, from this memory, he'll remember much else about the ethnic groups and humans in general he deals with. It is not Naha's nature to generalize his experience with one person easily to an entire group, so for the moment, I don't think this will extend to other humans.
-Body count as of starter memory: millions.
